Remy Rodriguez joins the Paladin basketball program this year as an assistant varsity coach. He played for Coach Marino at Everglades high school during his sophomore and junior years. In his time at Everglades, Remy earned Tournament MVP at the Kruel Classic, was a McDonalds All American Nominee, an All-County Sun-Sentinel selection, and was selected to play in the Broward County All Star Game in 2006.
Remy believes that hard work and discipline are the two keys to success in anything you do. By following this formula, he not only received many accolades in basketball, but also graduated top 10% of his high school class and graduated from FIU with high honors.
Currently, Remy is working on his Masters degree in Construction Management from Florida Atlantic University. In the future he would like to work on his home island of Dominican Republic developing hotels and schools.
